We love the San Diego Zoo.
We had a chance to go as a family & it was AMAZING! I highly recommend going in the late afternoon/evening. It is cooler, less crowded, and the animals are busy! We saw giraffes, koalas, and the rhino munching away. The bears were wrestling & swimming. The hippo was awake and actually out of the water. The tiger was creepily pacing right by the glass after dark. The mountain lions were trying to eat us. And to top it all off, the Skyfari (gondola ride) showed picturesque San Diego all lit up at night. It was awesome.
