Luke & I love the rain. Bennett is no different.
As friends get further away and our lives get busier, we want to be able to still share our lives with friends and family

Drum roll please.....
On Sunday, February 12th we had our baby girl: Autumn Grace.
I started having contractions Saturday night around 9:45PM so we thought it was time to actually finish packing our hospital bag. Knowing that we live 40 minutes from the hospital & we needed to drop Bennett off with Luke's parents, we left by about 11:00PM. Little did we know that labor would be much faster this time around. We got to the hospital, handed off Bennett, checked into the emergency department just after midnight, headed up to labor & delivery, and had Autumn at 1:56AM. Quite the whirlwind if you ask me.
Everything went smoothly & we all are doing well.

She arrives!

Bennett came to visit with Pappy & Mammie.
He was quite intrigued by his baby sister at the foot of the bed.

Last day of work
Well, it is official. I am on maternity leave.
Yes, baby girl Szabo is not due until the 18th, so I am looking forward to at least a few days of R&R. Maybe now I will actually finish some of the tasks around the house that I have started!
We will keep you posted on baby's arrival!

A sprinkle...
My mother and sister-in-law threw me a baby "sprinkle." It was quite fun to get the girls together and make hair bows and onesies for baby Szabo. I was AMAZED at everyone's creativity & willingness to be crafty! It is always so overwhelming to have a shower or party in your (or your baby's) honor. Family & friends are truly so generous & loving!
Delicious food, great conversation, gifts, and crafts...who could ask for more?
Thanks everyone!
My moms & me

Kristyn headed up the hair bow extravaganza. It was amazing! She had the cutest little cards with directions written out & sample bows of all kinds. We made fabric bows with buttons and all different types of ribbon bows.
What a great friend!

Darcy & I

My mom & dad came down for the weekend, which was super fun. Bennett had such a good time with them (as always) and enjoyed his Grandpa time while my mom and I were at the "sprinkle." He was quite sad to see them go.
'Til next time.
