As friends get further away and our lives get busier, we want to be able to still share our lives with friends and family

Twins

Landon and Lorna are in our growth group from church. Landon also plays softball with us on Sundays. Bennett and their boy, Kieran, happened to wear the same onesie to our softball game. The two boys are too cute!

Fishies in our Pond

We finally decided to put some fishies in our pond. We got some high-fin banded sharks (which are algae suckers) and a bunch of little goldfish. We hope they all survive!

Cousin Jolie

We were able to spend some time with Bennett's new cousin, Jolie Mae. She was born on 8-9-10. She is absolutely adorable. Jordy and Darcy are such wonderful parents to this sweet little baby girl. We're excited to see the two grow up together!

A Day at the Races

For Dean's birthday we went to the Del Mar Races. After a long ride down (Bennett wasn't too excited about the traffic in his car seat), we had a very fun day. The beer tasting festival was going on and we tried our luck betting on the horsies. I definitely don't know how to pick 'em, but Luke managed to win an exacta bet. Our winnings made the day free! Family visit

Auntie Joni, Grandma Izu, Grandma Pond, and Mom came to visit us for a few days. It was a big huge slumber party! We spent time around the house, went out to lunch, watched movies, and played games. We went to our favorite place....Bates Nut Farm! After buying up the store, we took some time to hang out in the shade and feed the crazy goats. What a great stay. We always love to have company!

Goodbyes are never fun

Well, we had to say goodbye to some pretty good friends and are definitely already missing them. Casey & Melissa headed back to Colorado and Brandon & Jessica are going back to Haiti. Looking back, we have shared way too many memories to count. They have been in our growth group at church for a long, long time, and as the church puts it....we've done life together. We love you guys!
