Last weekend, I took a little trip up to San Luis Obispo for my friend Cody's baby shower.  We got the college girls together for a reunion.  So fun.  My mom watched the kids for a night so I had a night away.  

We showered baby girl Ihle in Avila Beach.  We had a delicious festive lunch and then hit the beach.  Then it was into town in San Luis Obispo.  We had a tri-tip sandwich dinner at Firestone (a must) and then Cody and I stayed up late planning her nursery.  Love it!

It was some great girl time!

Our good friends Brandon & Jessica Stone came to visit for a few weeks.

They moved to Haiti a while back and now live in Nicaragua working with Living Water Christian Ministries.

I lost my camera and didn't get a new one for about a month, so I slacked a bit on the picture taking.  We finally got to meet their little baby girl, Eliana, who was born in February.  She is such a cutie pie!  We were lucky enough to see the Stones a few times before they left.

We were also able to finally catch up with Erik and Tina.

We miss you guys!

Marathon party day

Our marathon day started with a birthday celebration for Pappy.

We went to the beach and had a delicious French breakfast.

 After the birthday party, the kids took a quick early nap and then it was off to the horse races.  We met a bunch of Luke's co-workers there.  We didn't have the best picks, but it was still a fun afternoon.

After the races we had a quick dinner and it was off to softball.

We started playing coed softball again.
