As friends get further away and our lives get busier, we want to be able to still share our lives with friends and family

Ducks and other things

The kids & I drove up to Thousand Oaks to visit the fam.

That's a fist pump to show his excitement

We spent time at the house playing with toys and reading books.  Uncle Chris & Aunt Jill came down from Santa Barbara to visit too.  Autumn got to open her birthday present from them...she was quite excited!

We took a little outing to a nearby park & fed the ducks.

It was a great quick trip.

A long overdue hangout

We were finally able to get together with Kristyn & Kensington for a little play date.  The kids didn't exactly do much "playing" but we mamas got some exercise walking!

Ok...the kids did a little walking too.

Always nice to catch up.  Love those Braund girls!

Party time!

We had a little family birthday party for Autumn at our house.  She has always been interested in owls and then since she got new owl sheets, pillow, and piggy bank for Christmas, she loves them.  So we had an owl birthday party.

When I asked Autumn what kind of food she wanted at her party, she replied simply, "Nola."  Granola is a favorite.  Since she only wanted "nola" I figured I would at least have some granola with yogurt parfaits.  We also had some cheese, salami, and crackers.  Another Szabo kid favorite.  Since we can't just eat that, Mammie made a delicious salad, and we got some Costco pizza.  Yum!

Gigi came out with Mammie & Pappy. Grandma made it too!

 Then it was cupcake time!
We all sang happy birthday...Autumn was very serious.
I think she was focusing on remembering to not touch the candle!

"Happy Birthday to you!"

Happy 2nd Birthday!

For Autumn's "Real" birthday, we had pizza for dinner (per Autumn's request) and then headed to the new frozen yogurt shop in Valley Center.  Yes, that's right, we now have a froyo place down the street.  It is actually next to a great new grocery store.  Our town is up and coming!

Autumn chose pink bowl, pink spoon, vanilla yogurt, gra"nola" topping

Bennett chose green bowl, green spoon, chocolate yogurt

I can't believe our little girl is 2 years old!
Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Super Bowl

Ahhhh...if I could turn back time, I would go back a few years and convince the Wiederspans to not move back to Colorado.  We sure miss them!
Casey & Melissa came out for a quick visit this past weekend.  Even though we were only able to see them for a short while, it was great to catch up.

We were able to watch the Super Bowl with them.
We enjoyed lots of delicious food (including Casey's famous nacho cheese dip)!
Although most of us were sad at the Broncos poor showing, Luke (the only Seahawks fan of the night) capitalized with a winning bet against Melissa.  Sorry Meliss!

Thanks Jordy & Darcy for hosting.
Love you Wiederspans!  Thanks for coming out, hanging out, and loving on our kiddos.
