  We have been blessed with some great friends with kids around the same ages as Bennett & Autumn.

It is always fun to get together and play.

 My junior high/high school/college friend, Tara, lives nearby & we try to get the boys together when we can.  Now our #2 kids can play as well!

 We have been fortunate enough to go to Legoland a few times with friends that have free passes.  Luke took the kids (I was at work) with Evan & Desi, Tyler & new baby Vivian.

End of the Summer BBQ

 We have some friends that we love to spend time with, but never see...so the Langleys decided to have a BBQ!

Date nights

For Luke's birthday, I surprised him with a day off & a trip to the Del Mar Races.  We made it a marathon date with all-you-can-eat sushi for lunch, betting on the ponies, and the free concert afterwards.  The concert was Ben Harper!  We love Ben & had a great time.

A few days later we finally had our overnight on the boat.  We had planned to do this right before Autumn was born, but she came early!  We left the kids with Pappy & Mammie (Luke's parents) and stayed the night on their sailboat in Oceanside Harbor.

 

We got there in the afternoon.  We paddled my long board & the kayak around the harbor.  It was a beautiful day!

Although that was all I caught on camera, we enjoyed happy hour at Rockin' Baja Lobster, walked around the harbor, got a delicious dinner, watched a movie on the boat, spent the night, made some killer coffee in the am, and had a relaxing & QUIET morning.

Thank you Dean & Candi for watching the kids & setting us up with a 5 star stay at the Szabo B&B (Boat & Breakfast).  We loved the snacks & drinks & thoughtfulness.  Love you.

Six months already!

Our baby girl has grown leaps and bounds.  How quickly it goes...

Autumn is so joyful & loves people.

Luke loves to make her laugh over & over again.

Since she spits up like crazy, she generally hangs out on a blanket.  She is loving her tummy and rolling all over the place.

At about 5 months we started feeding her solids.  She seems to LOVE them!

Although it took Bennett much longer, Autumn has enjoyed sleeping without being swaddled.

She always sleeps on her hand, so she wakes up with hand prints on her face.

She is still refusing to sit up on her own, but loves playing with Bennett's toys

This is the latest...up on all fours & threatening to move...

Cousin Jolie turned 2 so we celebrated with the family at the beach.
