My friend from college, Christa, is pregnant, so we got the girls together for a baby shower. Cody offered to have it at her house in Santa Maria. The kids and I left on a Thursday night & headed up to my parent's house for a longer stay.

On Saturday I left the kids with my parents and headed north for the shower.
The drive was beautiful.
It was great hanging out and catching up with college friends (without kids around so we could actually have some good un-interupted conversation).
Christa looked great and lunch was delicious!

Of course we had to go into SLO for some Firestone's for dinner.
I drove back south to T.O. that night. Sunday, we ventured to the park, lunch at In-N-Out, and then we headed back home in time for softball.
A great weekend.
