When asked who their best friend is, both of our children say each other.
Autumn actually responded right away and yelled "B" (our impulsive little lady) with a big smile.
Bennett had to think about it awhile and asked a few clarifying questions (our calculated little man) before he then replied, "Auttie." So hilarious!
I don't know if they really understand the phrase "best friend" but I still love it.
We are pretty sure that the dynamic between them will change eventually. Adding #3 kid to the mix. Bennett will start school. They'll notice the whole boy/girl thing. But for now, we are soaking it up.
With Autumn getting older now, they rarely leave each other's side...

Okay. They are so cute together! I'm guessing a few photos can't capture everything, but they really love each other that much and play so good together?? Amazing! yay!!
