The Wieds!

  Our good friends Casey & Melissa came out from Colorado for a visit.  We have known them for quite a long time.  They were the friends that did EVERYTHING with you ALL the time.  They moved back out to Colorado a while ago & we have missed them ever since.

It was great to spend time together!

In true Wiederspan style, they hit the ground running & did all of the fun California things they have missed.  We had a few marathon days together.

 One of the MANY things we did together back in the day was play on a co-ed softball team.

After the kids dozed & we all showered, we stopped by Jordy & Darcy's new house.

Then it was off to Lamppost Pizza for dinner.

The next day, the boys surfed again in the morning.  The kids & I came in for delicious smoothies.  Then it was nap time & TENNIS time!

We had the privilege of having the Wieds stay with us Saturday night so we all got up & went to church in the morning.  They were in our growth group for a LONG time and Melissa actually worked at North Coast before they moved.

After church we headed to the Red Rooster for lunch.  

Ping pong, burgers, and beer for old times sake!

Saying goodbye...

It is always so hard to say goodbye to good friends, so I usually just avoid the goodbye altogether!

I know we will see those crazy Wiederspans soon!
