As friends get further away and our lives get busier, we want to be able to still share our lives with friends and family

Summer Projects

We enjoyed a full summer of little home projects.
Of course, we will never finish all of the things we want to do!
We just have a big master list of all the pending home improvements, and we cross them out one at a time.  It is a good lesson in being patient & prioritizing!

We have a shed that has had lots of random stuff shoved in it on top of the random paint & wood from the previous owner.  We were finally able to pull everything out and sort/toss/organize.
Hmmmm....

It's empty!

We also built some more shelves in the garage. By we, I mean Luke.

Bennett wanted to help out

"How far apart are studs again?"

Shelf up high, hung our tools, L shaped bench

We took some time to do a few non-home-improvement projects.

Bennett & I helped Kristyn make a quilt out of her husband's T-shirts.  It turned out so cute!

Helping Auntie Kristyn

Don't worry, he's not really sewing

The finished product

Luke brewed 2 batches of beer:

And of course, we continually took care of our garden.

Bennett has ADORED baby tomatoes & would eat all of them if we let him.

Just a few

We planted our carrots too close together, so they never got big, but they were DELICIOUS!

Eh, what's up Doc?

Bennett waters our fruit trees because he LOVES to just sit on the deck & chow down.

Autumn was a little UPSET that we were comparing her to our zucchini & squash.

A FUN & PRODUCTIVE SUMMER!
