We had the opportunity to go sailing on Dean's sailboat this past weekend. Unfortunately, I have found that although I have a strong stomach in the car, my stomach is not so strong on the ocean. I guess floating on a surfboard and on a boat are two different things!Don't worry - nothing came up!
Despite that bummer, we had such a great time hanging out with Pappy, Mammie, & Izzy. The ocean is sure a beautiful place & although we love Valley Center, we do miss living right next to the water!

Whenever Bennett does something new, he is very serious about it.He spent so much time just staring out at the ocean.

Bennett got a bit fussy, but after a while he just kept himself busy playing with his tongue and spitting. Silly boy!
Just enjoying the scenery
Just before we got back to Oceanside Harbor, we saw tons of sea animals.A huge pod of dolphins was playing and some of them were swimming & diving with the bow of the boat. Sea lions were jumping all over the place & birds were diving in the water so we assumed there was a school of fish underneath. Feeding time!
It got super chilly when the sun started to go down. Brrr!!!
Izzy has her own life vest - complete with a handle to grab just in case.
