Luke surprised me one day after work and bought tickets to go to a Padres game. We've been wanting to take Bennett all season and we finally did it! It was a Tuesday night game against the Cubs and unfortunately, the Padres lost. Despite the loss,the 3 of us had a lot of fun.
Bennett was pretty pooped at the end of the night. He did such a great job at the game though...so many sights to see and friends to meet.
An extremely kind usher gave Bennett a baseball from batting practice earlier that evening. He always tries to get one to give to a kid, and he said what better reason to get a ball than a first game. What a great guy! Bennett was pretty excited about his new toy...although, just like everything else, he just tried to shove it in his mouth!
